I. Measurements of constructive and functional parameters and quality evaluation of high precision products
• 3D measurement systems made up of:
- DEA Global Performance coordinate measuring machine which ensures an 3-axis measurement system with the following coordinates - X = 500mm, Y = 500mm, Z = 500mm, precision- 3 + 4L/1000, according to ISO 10360-2;
- Handyscan 3D – one of the most precise 3D scanning systems which allows the following activities: non-contact inspection, dimensional testing between the real piece and the CAD model, reverse engineering, 3D storage, mock up;
- Handy PROBE - portable coordinate measuring system equipped with a wireless portable touch probe with a C-Track 780 dual-camera sensor that follows/registers the 3D movement of the touch probe. The operating mechanism with Dynamic Referential Mode offers the possibility to create visual connections by measuring optic reflectors placed anywhere on the measured piece. The 3D points are created with a high accuracy up to 20μm, both under laboratory and production department conditions. The measuring and generating speed of the 3D points is that of min 30 points/sec, keeping the accuracy while measuring, without being influenced by the local environment (imbalance, thermal variations and vibrations) or by the competences of the human operator.
Keyence VHX600 - a digital microscope that is compact and portable and uses advanced optics and a 3CCD pen-sized camera of 54 million pixels; it can inspect an object up to 5000x and it is equipped with an LCD HD 15” monitor with a VH-Z20R objective that can inspect an object up to 5000x, and it allows registering vivid images, that can be seen on the screen. This equipment allows: surface analysis, strictness determination, measuring of linear dimensions, measuring of angles, colorimetric analysis, image analysis and qualitative determinations of specific elements.
Integrated system for image scanning, digitization and processing – it is destined for a quick and economic capturing of documents. Book2net Kiosk is equipped with a 50Mp sensor that ensures a scanning cycle in min 1.9 seconds.
II. National Instruments Wireless Sensor Network
• equipped with a programmable controller with an integrated gateway for Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), programmable wireless nodes for data acquisition- thermocouple signals, analogue tension signals, RTD signals, Resistance Temperature Detectors etc and LabVIEW Real-Time, NI LabVIEW Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) Module Pioneer software.
• National Instruments Wireless Data Acquisition, single modules for the acquisition of signals from rapid variation processes, exhibiting data acquisition modules with universal input, tension input, simultaneous tension input etc. the needed software and USB compatible interfaces that can be connected to the above acquisition modules in the place of the detachable wireless interface/ Ethernet.
• Libelium Wireless Sensor Network with Waspmote and Meshlium it contains single modules with low energy consumption, Libelium Waspmote; GSM/GPRS, GPS communication modules; sensor integration modules- event type, gas type, smart metering type, prototyping type, agriculture type; gateway modules for data collection from Waspmote modules; Meshlium multiprotocol routers that allow the configuration of the acquisition modules networking, sending tasks to the network and collecting data from the modules; power supplies from the network, machine and battery; temperature sensors, humidity, lightning, pressure/weight, bending, stretching, presence, level, leaning, impact, vibration, atmospheric pressure, gases (different types), weight, current, ultrasounds, displacement, debit, soil moisture etc.
• Active data acquisition modules of Tag4M type with WI-FI transmission to the internet of the measured data, with the corresponding software
• The system of monitoring and measuring the thermal comfort parameters, it includes a multifunctional TESTO 435-4 instrument for measuring temperature parameters, humidity, air flow, CO2, differential pressure, total pressure, luminous intensity, with internal memory and a PC soft, and a TESTO 330-2G LL instrument for the analysis of burned gases or for testing other emissions in order to frame them within the legal limits and to reduce the costs. TESTO 435-4 offers the possibility of analysing the quality of air from living spaces. This is, on the one hand, an indicator of people’s comfort, but also an important and decisive factor in storage and production processes. Among these, the indoor air quality (IAQ) indicates the extent to which an air conditioning system or ventilation system uses energy efficiently. TESTO 330-2G LL ensures the analysis of combustion with graphic representation, which offers the possibility of analysis on coloured and graphic diagrams, thus allowing a quick and fast debugging and an optimization of industrial and commercial heating systems.

• Monitoring system for vital and locomotion parameters/ stability consisting of medical surveillance and human physiological parameters recording equipment, forces and moments measuring equipment on three directions, Kistler type with various accessories (laptop, acquisition plates, Bioware software, synchronization module), Footscan type measuring platform (Kits plates footscan system 2m length, 3D interface box) with various accessories (Footscan software 7.x gait scientific & balance for 2nd generation box, HP Notebook Core2 Duo, cover and protection carpet for walking for the 2m length platform); system for monitoring the thermal comfort parameters- thermo-vision camera; BioHarness TEAMSystem-1 RF telemetry system to monitor people physiology in real time, anywhere in a stadium, field of another wide-area setting (it telemeters heart rate, respiration rate, temperature, posture, activity and acceleration back to a central TEAM central recording station).
• VICON system for tracking, motion capture, stimulation and modelling in real time with 6 Bonita 10video cameras, 1024x1024 resolution, 250 fps together with the Vicon Nexus software for calibration, real time tracking, motion capture, stimulation, post processing and export towards software packages as MatLab or Labview and the analysis module of Vicon Plug-in Gait, for the examination of joint kinematics.
IV. Screening activities and services for human behaviour assessment and human performance level, ergonomics, work security, etc.

V. Mechatronic system for PCB prototyping. LPKF Rapid Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Prototyping system consisting of:
- LPKF ProtoMat S63 - , for the production through milling of wirings, having a video camera positioning system and an area with 15 locations for 1/8" tools, with an automatic system for tool change, automatic adjustment of the width of the milling. The machine is equipped with a dozer for paste solder used for cables and with a temperature sensor, which ensures a resolution of 0.5 microns on X,Y axes , 0.2 microns on Z and a repeatability of +/- 0.001 mm;
- LPKF MiniContact RS - through-hole electroplating system specially developed for the professional production of prototype and small batch production printed circuit boards;
- LPKF ProMask for coating PCB with the professional finish;
- LPKF ProLegend for professional screen printing, a simple-to-use method of adding legend printing, logos, and circuit legends to any prototype PCB;
- LPKF ProtoPlace E - for manual PCB assembly;
- LPKF ProtoFlow S - convection oven or attaching SMD components.
• V-Flash® 3D Printer for designing three-dimensional models from durable plastic, used in rapid prototyping. This equipment prints durable plastic parts with a smooth surface finish, with a wide use from modelling intricate anatomical structures to parts of great precision and complexity.
