Infrastructure

The research centre has cutting edge infrastructure, which has been supporting the research undertaken in accordance with European priorities in the field: content and VOC emissions of composite deck boards and furniture; capitalization of secondary wooden resources by eco-design; materials, products and innovative processes for wood conservation/restoration and protection as well as modelling/optimization processes in wood industry.

In 2011, RENAR – The Laboratory for chemical analysis and testing of formaldehyde content and emissions of wood-based boards was accredited. It offers certification services to manufacturers in the field.
