Research fields

The Centre for Applied Medicine and Interventional Strategies in Medical Practice focuses on areas such as significantly reducing the costs of care, therapy and active monitoring, increasing the survival rate and quality of life of patients, creating new jobs and selective training of employees for the simultaneous achievement of medical research and management objectives.

It also aims to develop modern therapies focused on chemical, genetic and cellular support and standardize them in accordance with bioethical norms, in order to create an applied research centre to be involved in the creation of monitoring and therapy programmes, for evaluating the social and economic impact while reducing the existing gap both in the field of fundamental research and that of the clinical approach between the universities and institutes of scientific research in Romania and the European Union.

The human resource of the Research Centre for Applied Medicine and Interventional Strategies in Medical Practice consists of the teaching and research team of the Department of Medical and Surgical Specialties, Faculty of Medicine at Transilvania University of Brașov, to provide adequate funding based on a composite indicator of the efficiency of research funds and increasing the competitiveness of the educational process, adapting the educational offer to the dynamics of the labour market by implementing mechanisms to promote and support excellence.
