The international conference THE SCIENCE OF MUSIC - EXCELLENCE IN PERFORMANCE is one of the most significant events of the Faculty of Music within Transilvania University of Brașov, which enjoys ever-increasing international visibility.

Within this event, renowned researchers worldwide come together to present their research results in fields such as musicology, music composition, stylistics of performance, ethnomusicology, music therapy and music education. 

At the same time, the conference is an opportunity for all participants to exchange ideas and expertise in research, to establish relations of cooperation between their institutions, as well as future interdisciplinary partnerships or collaborations.

This year's edition brings together professionals from all over the world (United States of America, Brazil, Mexico, Panama, Cuba, Hungary, Portugal, Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of Moldova, Great Britain, Romania, China), personalities who will present their research results, will hold masterclasses or workshops, and will announce their latest book releases.

The event will include a few recitals and a concert with the Orchestra of the Faculty of Music.
